Who’s M L Moos?

I’m glad you asked.

M L Moos (Yes, I’m writing about myself in the third person. It’s supposed to make me sound professional.) writes YA fantasy and has several short stories published with the podcast, 600 Second Saga. Her current works in progress include The Ambassador’s Daughter and The Suncatcher Stone.

Continually aspiring author, and perpetually young mom, she lives in Washington with her husband, two sons, and a cat with a Napoleon complex. She bakes oddly shaped bread, volunteers at her church as long as it doesn’t involve a stage, and watches chick flicks and Disney princess movies to counteract all the testosterone in her house. And if her humming bothers you, you’ll have to tell her because she usually doesn’t realize she’s doing it.

Read more about her in her interview here.

  1. Hi Katelyn – I ran across your name on 600 Second Saga. I’m considering submitting a piece to the site in hopes of gaining some readers. I wonder what your experience was. Would you do it again?

    Thanks for your help.

    1. Hey Kate! I became acquainted with Mariah and 600 second saga through Camp NaNoWriMo in April. I had never attempted to write flash fiction before and this opportunity to do so has really helped me grow as a writer. I have submitted two stories now and am very pleased with how they turned out. It’s a simple means of broadening your platform as a writer and I would highly recommend submitting. Mariah makes the process easy and simple for the writer and does a fabulous job with the reading. I hope this will be helpful in making your decision. I wish you all the best in your writing career!
