Who’s M L Moos?

I’m glad you asked.

ML Moos (Yes, I’m writing about myself in the third person. It’s supposed to be cool.) writes YA fantasy and is currently working on a magical trilogy featuring three young heroines and an undersea treasure hunt adventure. To learn more, go to her Facebook page @mlmoos

She lives in Washington with her husband, two boys and one country cat who sometimes thinks he’s a cougar. She bakes oddly shaped bread, volunteers for her church in any capacity that doesn’t require standing on a stage, and watches Jane Austen and Disney princess movies to make up for all the testosterone. And if her humming bothers you, you’ll have to tell her, cause she doesn’t know she’s doing it.

Some of her stories here can also be found in audio format at the podcast 600 Second Saga.

  1. Hi Katelyn – I ran across your name on 600 Second Saga. I’m considering submitting a piece to the site in hopes of gaining some readers. I wonder what your experience was. Would you do it again?

    Thanks for your help.

    1. Hey Kate! I became acquainted with Mariah and 600 second saga through Camp NaNoWriMo in April. I had never attempted to write flash fiction before and this opportunity to do so has really helped me grow as a writer. I have submitted two stories now and am very pleased with how they turned out. It’s a simple means of broadening your platform as a writer and I would highly recommend submitting. Mariah makes the process easy and simple for the writer and does a fabulous job with the reading. I hope this will be helpful in making your decision. I wish you all the best in your writing career!
