“McKenzie is a great editor. I submitted roughly 30,000 words over eight chapters and included my outline for her to review. She asked me a few simple questions about where I wanted the project to go. She worked quickly and efficiently and most of all, her edits were spot on and professional. As a new author, these edits were invaluable to my project. She did not try to add her own voice or change mine in any way which gave me confidence about what I had written. If you are looking for an editor, I highly recommend McKenzie. I look forward to working with her further on this project and on future projects as well.” – Dan Wunderlin
“Her critique seemed very well thought out and organized. The points were well explained, and the positive feedback was also very helpful to let me know where my strong points are. She did very well.” – B. K. Bass
“Her editing skills are very impressive, and she can handle different forms of writing well. I mainly work in screenwriting and she was able to quickly pick up the rules of it and assist me in improving my script.” – Krystle Kwiatkowski
“Her expertise in the craft and her astonishing attention to detail shines through her work. Her feedback gave me the direction I needed to improve my story and turn it into a better version of itself. On top of that, her friendly, yet professional, attitude has made working with her a pleasant experience.” – H. Ferry
I’m most familiar with YA and MG, fantasy and sci-fi, but I’m open to anything as long as it’s not overly graphic. Aside from spelling and some grammatical errors, I won’t actually change anything in your story. Rather than fixing the problems I see, I’ll make suggestions that diagnose the problems so you can fix them your way. It’s your work and I want it to remain yours.
To determine if I’ll be a good fit for you, I give a free sample edit of the first 1,000 words or first chapter, for any one of the following editing services. And if you request more than one service, you’ll receive a 20% discount on each. You’ll find details about each editing service below.
